Haya Racing SCE Series Rules

The purpose of these rules is to promote fun and competitive racing that is consistent through the Haya Racing race season.

Cheating will result in a permanent ban from the Haya Racing and will be reported to the SCE community.

All drivers must register through the Haya Racing Garage Forums.

Drivers must have TeamSpeak 3 installed and be on our TeamSpeak3 server for each race. (Haya Racing is a family oriented organization.  Please remember to keep language clean!)

Respect Admins-

This league is evolving and we appreciate all feedback.

Respect fellow drivers.  If drivers have a dispute/ issue with an on-track incident, notify an admin and they will be glad to discuss it after the race.

*Previous Season Champion starts at Tail end on Green Flag- Qualifying still counts towards Bonus Points

3 Max provisional’ s

Points will be issued like the Nascar season- max points to the winner, + 1 to pole sitter.  (No points for most laps lead or for leading a lap)

Example:

Winner = 8 points

2nd place = 7 points

3rd place = 7 Points (+1 Polesitter)

All races are on Friday nights and will proceed as follows: All Times are PST
04:30 pm – Practice
05:45 pm – Qualify (No chatter allowed until every driver qualifies)
06:55 pm – Driver’s Meeting
06:10 pm - Race

Before every race there will be a mandatory driver's meeting.  No driver will be allowed on the track during the meeting.
Once the green flag is dropped & there is an incident prior to the green flag a restart is possible as long as one lap has not been completed or all drivers “VOTE” a restart.  Once race restarts, the leader must maintain a consistent speed until the checkered flag is dropped calling out his/hers increasing pace speed.
Use in-game chat or TeamSpeak3 to notify drivers when entering and exiting pits.
Pass other drivers in a safe manner.  We expect drivers to race hard, be competitive and want to win.  However, if a driver is slower, maintain a consistent line to provide an opportunity for the faster driver to pass cleanly.  If a driver is faster, wait for an opportunity for a clean pass.  Wrecking drivers and caution laps are no fun.  The "Golden Rule" applies here.  Treat other drivers like you want to be treated.
Cars that are more than one lap down need to move over for cars on the lead lap.
No racing back to the line under cautions is allowed until the last lap.  Once a caution comes out the field is frozen. Once a caution flag is flown maintain position and slowly begin decreasing speed before picking up the pace car.  When returning to green, all drivers will line up double file, the Leader will choose high or low and the field will stagger accordingly.
During caution laps the field is expected to stagger at a 2 second interval. The Lucky Dog will be awarded to the 1st driver a lap down.  Drivers need to be aware the Lucky Dog will be passing on the outside of the track to get their lap back.  The Lucky Dog will not be awarded to a driver that causes the caution or with 10 laps or under of racing.  Any driver that fails to do this and causes an incident will be required to move to the tail end of the field. On the last lap drivers will be allowed to race back to the start/finish. Only one G-W-C

**** After the Checkered flag all other drivers must exit or enter the pits to exit the track, which allows the winner the track space for a proper victory celebration. (Donuts & Burnouts) :)
